Thanks for the rain tweets, it is peeing it down here

The only problem is the TV has totally lost the signal, suspect rain may have got into the connection somehow. It may sort itself out but it will be a while before OH gets a chance to sort it out if not. In the meantime it means we have to have either the virgin box or the satellite box on, for some reason it really annoys me to have to run another box just to get a signal

I'm near a Morrisons tomorrow so will pop in and see if I am lucky enough to find toothpaste.

I now have 50p off Hovis on COS but won't be bothering as although it was nice to have it free, I found Hovis wholemeal tastes terribly sweet, so not very good for savoury fillings.

Only one alcove left to do but the light is going now so it will have to wait. Seem to have had a hyperactive day - so I took a power nap this afternoon.

    Good news!

Kids do feed off their parents, so I'm not surprised she only wants the school they want.

Worth checking that she is registered on the waiting list properly. Are they appealing? Or still waiting to hear?

She is a clever girl and apparently is a good ambassador for the school that's what was put on her report anyway. They all went to see another school she has been offered previously when they thought of moving to that village but was too far from their work really.

She was rejected yesterday as no places there. They will appeal but that won't be till September. I ll ask her mum have they registered her on the waiting list properly. I just don't know what else to suggest to help them.

We seem to have the tv signal back, must have been a problem with the transmitter.

Rather annonying, OH does not have time to run any tests on the oven at the moment so still do not know if it is repairable

Two years ago they failed an appeal for her to get sent to the school she should have gone to where all the kids from her school went . It was probably because they didn't live near enough as had to travel to that school.

That's why she went to this other school which was supposedly a good school but that meant even more travelling there and back. They were doing six hundred miles a month just taking kids back and to to school .
