We went to Sainsbobs in search of Elmlea and strawberries for TCB and the 3 COS freebies - needless to say rhe 2 drinks my store does not sell but at least it stocked the sweeteners tins
And Hovis - its a pity the food bank does not accept fresh as its on all of my apps now.

Our store still has masses of clothing on clearance sections, entire sections - wondering when the next 25% sale is on ...

    Then to Mortibobs for Robinsons

Then WHSmiths for both of the 02 freebies - the minions ate going in the food bank collection

Then Nero for hot chocolate and that was about it.

The guttering on the back of the house had expanded in the heat and so it covered the downpipe hole again, water pouring over the side again so Oh had to sort it out when he got home, ladders on the flat roof in the pouring rain - I think we need to be more pro -active in checking the guttering everytime we have a dry spell.
Its poured non stop for 2 days here, Ive had all of the buckets out collecting it in readiness for garden watering in case we ever get another dry spell

    Good news NG

Do you like grapes Nellie ?

Two out of three kids sorted. Seren at the school of their choice, Josh likes a school about a mile away and it's only for a year anyway and is a feeder school for School they want. They have a free breakfast club so he could go there and that would give his mum or dad time to drive back to Serens school and drop her off.

Just Caitlin now , she s being a bit stubborn and only wants to go to the school they want. She mentioned being home schooled rather than go anywhere else so I don't know what's happening there

Thanks for the rain tweets, it is peeing it down here

The only problem is the TV has totally lost the signal, suspect rain may have got into the connection somehow. It may sort itself out but it will be a while before OH gets a chance to sort it out if not. In the meantime it means we have to have either the virgin box or the satellite box on, for some reason it really annoys me to have to run another box just to get a signal
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Worth checking that she is registered on the waiting list properly. Are they appealing? Or still waiting to hear?

If the talk of ships and sailing away to far away places with strange sounding names has wetted your appetite this one is worth a look at.

The inside guarantee cabins are £449 per person, full board (apart from your bar bill of course) - they choose your cabin for you a few weeks before departure so you wont know where you will be when you book.
Don't be put off by inside cabins, everything is exactly the same as an outside - and anyway you are only really in your cabin to shower, change and sleep - too much else going on.

The ports look really good - you even get an overnighter in Hamburg - we visited the 2 Danish ports in May so its a bit soon for us to go back again.
I notice there is a coach from Victoria to Tilbury which is very helpful

    https://www.cruiseandmaritime.com/cruise/g725/european-cities-fairytales

The ship itself looks good from the pics, not a new all singing and dancing ship but comfortable enough. I like how they give the biogs of the speakers so you can do research on them beforehand.

Also with being a smaller ship they tend to dock much closer to town so when you dock you can usually walk into town. Hamburg has 4 docks so it depends on where the ship docks if it needs a shuttle but there are always taxis

Usually its 15% deposit and then the rest 90 days before sailing.
