We went from Liverpool on a Fred Olsen in May 2015 and there was an issue loading supplies onto the ship so we were delayed going out but it meant we had dinner directly under the liver birds

Well, there really was no worm. Cunard's QE is still at sea. Some locals had said arrival due 6am. Wrong, but never mind.

Their website is a bit baffling. It says the time on the QE is 10.11, presumably they are still in Dublin time-zone. They say their current location is Liverpool. It isn't unless they have an invisibility cloak. And their map shows Liverpool's location to be in Finland.

So I give up for now.

Hi em, glad everything went ok for Riley
Why can't I drive? Well I can barely even walk Had a silly mishap on Wednesday. Went to put a load of washing out and fell over the line prop. Landed face down on the grass. Managed to crawl to the line post and pulled myself up. Couldn't walk though. Managed to wake DD1 up by shouting her and she helped me in. A marathon wait in A & E followed. Luckily no serious damage just damage to the muscles and tendons in left leg. Getting about on crutches now and pain is getting better each day. I have some lovely black bruising and lots of swelling I am sure I will be mobile again soon. No biggy compared to what some peole are going through:

    Good morning Elite

Massive hugs to the Elite poorly and those low in spirit. You are all in my thoughts today xx

Slept in this morning, 8.55am, good job I don't have a job to go to else I'd be late . I remember switching off my alarm at 7am to take my meds but didn't actually take them oh well better late than never

Last night I kept thinking about our Elite who are under attack from cancer. All we can offer is love, hugs and support as there is nothing else. They have every right to feel depressed, angry and confused. Where to next some are thinking, if only we had answers.

Positivity isn't always easy to find when you know there isn't anything else for you and time isn't on your side. It's natural to be be angry, to be scared and not know which way to turn.

If anyone wants to let it all out away from RL family and friends come here to your Elite family, we're here to listen, to hug and support you all through these horrendous journeys

Nellie I'm taking my hat off to you on crutches I found it bad enough walking with two walking sticks when I had my right knee replaced my size 7s had me tripping over things that weren't there. Make sure you have a mobile on you, in pocket or in a crossover body bag, just big enough for phone, handy if you fall and need to call for help xx

Right, I'm off to finish my catch-up from last night then going to read for an hour or so, see you all later xx

Need to pick dandelions tonight for her to take for the tortoises.

in case anyone is wondering... She hasn't had treatment, she got signed off from hospital, so we will never know if the cancer spreads
Her 'cure' is well water & healthy eating

Now you can see why I've put her in a secret compartment in my head

Im a board guide on Pie Making Moneysaving. I'm a volunteer to help the pie production & consumption run smoothly. I can help merge tastes and fillings. Any pies made are mine & are not those of other Moneysavingexperts. Im a board guide not a qualified baker and as such do not make every type of pie. If you spot a quiche or flan please report it.

Today's weather fits my mood perfectly its lashing down. I don't usually use that phrase as it sounds a bit brash but today I'm feeling brash I cannot show any other emotion only anger for our mate JTS I'm truly gutted for you but I can only echo what I've said before you have to scream back in its face YOU WONT BEAT ME because I truly believe that's the attitude you need.
I cannot begin to imagine how you feel right now but we're here if you ever need to sound off. There are somethings that you just can't talk about with your loved ones.

In other news. We had a great day at Olympia for the Allergy/Free From/Vegan Show. Loads to sample and loads of freebies. Then we went to St Katherine Docks for meal at Zizzi. We were all still full from sampling but managed a main course each. Mine was free as Birthday treat from them and as there were 4 of us, it included a free bottle of Prosecco too. And it was so nice we ate outside
