    Good Evening

Will continue with today's saga ..
Fourps brother calls us to say a bloke called Bob was visiting Dad .. why did he ring our house in Wales?
So we establish it's Dad's brother coming up from Salisbury.
We get to hospital for visiting 3-5pm - Dad really miserable & low so I suggest we could ask if we can get him into a wheelchair & take him down to reception to Costa & plus we could spot Uncle Bob arriving..
We all had nice cool drinks & 5 to 5 came around & no sign of Bob.
We had to get Dad back to ward for 5pm & his tea.
So after popping to loo I come out to see Fourp & Dad tearing down corridor & Mum & Bob talking.
It seems he set off at 11am by train & had been stuck in Woking for 3 hours as some power failure...
Arriving at 5pm. So hospital very kindly let him stay with Dad & we galloped home for 10 minutes..
Returned & bought food for Bob but found him leaving so I told him train times.
Back up to Dad who was more than low at this time talking about 'the end'
So we did sarcasm & wit & turned the whole thing around to Dad joking about mounding his hospital croissant into a battleship

But also meanwhile my sister texted to say Fourp's brother (house sitting ours) has washed his mobile in a 40 wash in his trousers if we needed him call house phone..
Rang him to locate the rice, he was using Cheerios
Then he announced our microwave has sizzled dead
Luckily we could point him to new one purchased last week

So home again - red hot weather here
Oh & I got M&S box of 9 small cup cakes whoopsied from £4.25 to 15p in hospital

    And relax

Im a board guide on Pie Making Moneysaving. I'm a volunteer to help the pie production & consumption run smoothly. I can help merge tastes and fillings. Any pies made are mine & are not those of other Moneysavingexperts. Im a board guide not a qualified baker and as such do not make every type of pie. If you spot a quiche or flan please report it.

Thanks Hampy. There was some stuff RTC but the shelves were empty....until I spotted the 4 pack BBQ chicken breasts. £2 down to £1.

Bought a couple which went through at £2.70 each. Toddled off to the CS desk and got a refund and a giftcard. So happy with that

only downfall is you can only get 40 at a time

you can ask them a question on that link to make sure its got the old sugar amount.
most of the big supermarkets are £1 each at the moment. so a saving of 25p each will go towards delivery. unless you spend over £50 when delivery is free.
