I've had a few interesting 'debates' with managers/finance regarding funding for cruises for local authority 'service users' a cruise can offer respite for the carer, meals, laundry and social engagement can all be taken care of, but, obviously, holidays can'y be paid for out of the 'public purse'.

Have to admit, would love to do that.

Im a board guide on Pie Making Moneysaving. I'm a volunteer to help the pie production & consumption run smoothly. I can help merge tastes and fillings. Any pies made are mine & are not those of other Moneysavingexperts. Im a board guide not a qualified baker and as such do not make every type of pie. If you spot a quiche or flan please report it.

    Good evening all.
I am not a regular poster at the best of times and since moving to a different position within my company struggle to keep up now
    Anyway.....
I live in West London, and as you know it has had/still is an awful, awful day. We have a lot of appeals locally wanting life's basics for some of these poor families that have lost it all. I know there is a glitch as A's at the mo but have struggled to keep an eye on what. Could anybody help me to make a few shopping lists that I could get most products for the littlest amount of money that I can take down tomorrow? I know that sounds really tight And I don't mean it to be, what I mean is that I can get more stuff to donate. I think they are looking for absolutely everything
Thanking you all in advance x
