Oh Sarah,I really feel the pain for you with DS's car insurance...it's no comfort either that even the second year can be expensive too....ours came down by around £100 when we renewed...but its still almost £600.

What car did your DS go for in the end?
It's exciting times but yep your right such a financial drain when what they actually want is independence.

My news....He arrived home for the summer this evening...first year at uni completed...still loving chemistry, and actually loving life.....I'm happy!

messed up my dave deo shop this afternoon(wrong flavour)...my own fault trying to avoid the mother of a girl DS took out a few weeks ago and got her home too late for the ladies liking.....it wasn't all his fault and I came to the conclusion that it will be easier to take back the wrong flavour deo's tomorrow rather than have to subject myself to an earful from a disgruntled parent!

    Question for ya'

Electric hobbs induction or ceramic? Which is better? Does one heat up quicker? Any recommendations?

Checked our pans and they are suitable for induction.

I have no idea really, only familiar with solid fuel Rayburn, oil fired Rayburn or gas. There is no gas down this end of the village

    TIA
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

just went for a cc at azda. they could not open the lockers for my order. (needs rebooting) it was a db shop they only had 2 in stock. so was rubbing my hands.
i was assured if i went back tomorrow the order would be exactly as it was picked. i just hope the db is still comparing the same. think we have sainsbug to fall back on.
anyway was given a £20 gc as an apology.

MyMail can exclusively confirm we will soon become the only place you can exchange Nectar points for M&S vouchers.

From August, MyMail will be teaming up with Nectar

Ceramic chips easier if you happen to drop anything on it that is hard...especially if you catch the edge!
