Good afternoon, underperky a question for you, I know you like a lucozade as I do, so this week the taste was wrong, and after doing a spot of online reading it seems that they have changed the recipe, have you noticed the difference ?, tastes awful to me

So this is my story from this morning.

After I finished work I drove 20 miles to the 24hour A Store. When I arrived I found it locked up and a sign near the door saying it wasn’t 24 hour any more – from this morning! Still loads of 24 hour advertising around the Car Park though.

I had a good womble round and went and filled up at the 24 hour Petrol Station. Then to McD’s for a coffee and killed an hour checking emails etc.

Back to Store and tried to kip for a couple of hours, without success, until the Store opened. Loads of cars in and out, folk walking to the doors and leaving again. Amusing to see someone do as I did, have a good womble round – without much success!

Got in, did 4 shops for a start, then to SS – the only tills open as normal. Put first shop through with SA supervising from a reasonable distance. Showed her my APG and she smiles and said “you can put it through yourself” so I did, pretending it was the first time. Did same with rest of shops, only one she had to authorise was one for just over £20. I did leave the APG’s on top each time so that she could put them in the slot. That’s how I think I lost my new receipt, she binned it by mistake. She also let me use 6 Walkers Vouchers, which the Daytime staff won’t take. (No more promotional packs on display though so it’s virtually finished for me)

Went round again with two more shops, more APG’s, no problem, very pleasant girl.

Still not found the missing receipt so will return the items. Ironically it was for my Anti-Wrinkle Cream so I still don’t know if it works (the cream or the Glitch). If still working when I go again on Friday I will buy again.

As a result I had several test shops that showed the Glitch still working today so that was a benefit to my Readers! Four of the wombles returned a total of just over £4 so that helped.

Overall a successful, if extended, trip. Off to work again now, catch you all tomorrow.

Dave, I used hand held scanner this afternoon - SA had to put apg through manually as coupon, no provision to scan them.

Please change the word man for bear

Ok Mr Ted has got a slightly larger head than when we went away thanks to all you lovely people who have been following him on Instagram. For those that couldn't I will post his highlights later.
The Bear is currently upstairs sulking as I refused to take his snorkel on the plane so he could pose for this photo in the true style of the Vodafone advert. He says he is still jet lagged although I think the headache he is suffering is more down to the free bar on the plane than the change in time zones.

So nice to arrive home and currently enjoying our first day without rain in nearly a fortnight. Thank god for skinny tan

an Indian lady claiming to be from BT saying there were discounts that could be applied to the account including 3 months free line rental - she gave the correct home number and asked if I paid bills by direct debit.
Nasty scam this as superficially it sounded legit and an older, less wordly wise person would think this was really a BT call
Needless to say we are not with BT but I let her ramble through her speech ...

This is the 2nd call I've had today. The earlier one was also an Indian lady with an entire speech to read out about the infections and viruses on my computer. Again I let her go through her entire speech and then I asked her how to switch the computer on.
She asked if it was my computer and I said it was my OHs.
She asked to speak to my OH and I said he was out.
She asked when he would be back and I said he was in prison
    and then she gave up
