Evening folks Just catching up before my drive back home

Only had to pay £6.45 after gift cards for Hungry Horse meal last night. So that is a total of £16.50 cash I have spent on 3 meals out for 4 in the last week after birthday offers, nectar vouchers, gift cards I had won etc. And the 4 of us have thoroughly enjoyed our meals out together, as always

Back home late tonight, back to reality

Sorry that I am not commenting on many posts but catch ups have been quick

Potential glitch if buying two even numbers up to 10 the same Activia yogurts on RTC?

What a shame they bought Activia yogurts on 10p RTC, otherwise I might have had 4p vs T:

4 items (2 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda tesco
1x ASDA High in Protein Moroccan Chicken & Butternut Squash Falafels (400g) £0.45 N/A
    1x ASDA Organic Whole Milk (2pt) £0.10 N/A
3x Asda Ready to Roll Chocolate Shortcrust Pastry (350g) £0.30 N/A
    3x Activia Fruit Fusion Prune Yogurts (4x125g) £3.10 £5.20
1x ASDA Hero with Chicken in Jelly Dog Tin (400) £0.44 £0.45
1x ASDA Extra Special Abate Fetel Desserts Pears (4pk) £0.58 N/A
1x ASDA Hero Beef in Jelly Dog Tin (400) £0.44 N/A
1x ASDA Extra Special Creamed Green Vegetables (200g) £0.10 N/A
    1x ASDA High in Protein Lamb & Spinach Cassoulet (400g) £0.45 N/A
Comparison total (compared products only) £3.54 £5.65
    cheaper +£2.11

The dog food was the only item bought at 'full price' - everything else was RTC. However, I notice that the Activia at 10p x3 have appeared at £3.10 and showing mbuy price for A. It appears that these is appearing at 2 for £3. Unfortunately there is nowhere to which they do not compare much more expensively - S £6, M £5.00 and W £5.20. However, T, M and W are appearing as mbuy price. M is the best price. Is this 2 for £3 plus one at £2 full price for M? If so, buying 2 at 10p would compare 2 for £3 vs 2 for £3 at M. It would probably also compare vs 2 for £3 at T (for Northern Ireland) and W if the individual prices for one at those competitors are simply a little more expensive.

This is only available if your A has comparable Activia yogurt going for RTC price and only if it has more than a single unit of stock left. However, maybe look out for other yogurt in your store at reduced price that is on mbuy for A and compares to competitor. On this occasion, if 2 were bought for a total of 20p, then even at 2 for £3 vs 2 for £3 it would give 30p (you'd have to buy as part of a comparable shop that you were already getting of at least 7 other appearing items - maybe some 3 for 2 at A if still ongoing - I've not caught up) and the two yogurt multipacks costing a total of minus 10p. Look for RTC yogurts - if you find one on 2 for £3 mbuy for A say, and at £1 offer elsewhere, you could be onto some even better ones!

EDIT: It seems the above Activia pots should be 2 for £3 plus £2 every APG competitor now for three.

Actually if something instore on RTC says multibuy discounts not available, it is probably best buying the mbuy number (if you can see what that is on the normal SELs for the same product) and then having it compare hopefully from mbuy pricing against a competitor that may be same price or cheaper.

so youve turned whoopsies showing into our favour.
