Do you think the Debenhams in Cheddar Pines take them? I will try when I have a minute and report back, possibly tomorrow after work.

    Hi all,

Just a quickie. If I order a delivery from Ts will it be the online price?

Just looking at Cadbury retro boxes and they seem rather cheap. Worried it's the wrong price online!

    TESCO DEALS
Bassetts Wine Gums 400G/Jelly Babies 460G/Liquorice Allsorts 400G, Half Price £1.25 , Cartons Of Quality Street, Roses,Heroes & Celebrations also Half Price £1.50 @ Tesco .....Also At Morrisons 4 for £5 ( beware some packs are smaller in Morrisons)

    Cadbury Retro Selection Box 460G (4 Bars) £2.50 @ Tesco.........on the darkside

Yes they are. Very small indeed for the price IMO. For example, the Cadbury Heroes, I now have to go to M's website for the weight as I ruled all of the cartons of chocolates completely out straight on seeing them and took no details. I just saw it was not one of the big cartons and was rather small. That 4 for £5 is a silly offer in my view. According to online they are just 185g - ridiculous!

As for Maynards (Bassetts) Wine Gums, I am sticking with my 460g carton that I bought on £1 RTC in A about six months ago thank you very much. I do not know whether that 400g now is a downsizing - according to msm only Ocado allegedly has the 460g carton now and, even if it does... £3.

I am none too happy with the Cadbury Heroes (323g) which, although, quite a lot more than M, still seems quite small to me. Maybe I am expecting 400g or something - I think I had 500g pouches early in the year in M at £2 RTC, which, in fact, works out at just over £1.29 for 323g so the T offer, £1.50 rather than £1.25, seems a little high. Even if the price seems high to me - maybe I am just so into RTCs bought at unseasonal times - it would have been a nice difference £5 A vs £1.50 T. Sadly the product in A appears to have "conveniently" gone OOS online for A. If you don't want to give Heroes cartons at better than £1.50, just take them offline. As a cynic, I wonder whether they will suddenly reappear in stock on 11th October.

I am not happy with A over Celebrations either, as the T product appears to be 240g but the A one is 245g. Others are not comparable - and the only one I can find in both A and T in T's offer is Quality Street 265g( - seems low weight to me) for potential 65p APG once another day is waited for the system to update.

Back in the day....my mum had a similar experience to yours Sarah....grapes may appear the healthy option but they are only good in moderation.

Sadly my mum loved dates too...the ones in boxes that you used to get at christmas and she always classed that as healthy.

    Evening luvlies

Been skimming the last few weeks, we are now back in our house but it's not finished

Anyway, don't think I've seen this mentioned, you can now, if you wish, turn nectar points into egift cards. May be handy to know with the swipe and win round the corner and you don't want to wait until double up. Thanks to hukd
