    Afternoon all

Not fully caught up yet, out all day but I noticed something about healthy eating and its something I've been thinking about ...

OH has a new obsession - grapes. He has convinced himself they are a healthy alternative to chocolate. Possibly they would be if he ate a normal measured amount. He buys them in the plastic boxes, about 500g in a box - and apart from a small section which he gives me he will eat the entire box himself in one sitting

I've screen shot a page I found which says 150g of grapes have 6 teaspoons of sugar in (I suppose it depends on the variety and season). And another from the AHA that says blokes should consume not more than 9 teaspoons of sugar a day or 37.5g. And the myfitnesspal app says an entire box of Morrisons value grapes has a total of 92.4g of sugar ...lets see him argue his way out of this.

Not that he has stopped eating biscuits either or muesli bars. And the Nature valley bars he eats in the morning (too much effort to put cereal in a bowl) have more sugar than you would think - 10 grammes. And he went off with a chunk of the banana cake I made yesterday to work this morning.

One of the chaps he works with is a diabetic and he has to test his blood and doing daily injections, in and out of hospital with foot problems - you would have thought that it would at least make OH think about what he should be eating ...

Oh god! You mean I need to eat more! Before I started this diet or should I say healthy eating I used to only eat once a day, & that was about 6pm each evening, today I've done well, 7am, overnight oats & coffee, then another coffee, them omelette with tomatoes, spring onion, mushrooms, spinach, two spoons of low fat/sugar beans with rocket salad, then had a fig & large grapefruit & this evening will be having Bubbs KFC. . Not that I can taste a thing, have a nose that's running like a tap, headache, pain from my stomachs ulcer, fit for the knackers yard me thinks X. . Oh, I've been drinking lots of water & running for a wee every five minutes too

what sort of mess did you make with the chicken thing for COS - I was fully expecting our little Morriblbs not to have them but it did and COS valided the receipts within half an hour

Time and energy ran away today - I didn't get to get more malt!!!!!hs from Morribobs today - fingers crossed that it renews overnight.
I didn't even get to go to the alternative Sainsbobs to look for weird pea snacks and invisible Gu desserts
But I did notice the WW free bread on shopimum and expiring today so at least I got one of the cashbook items on the list

Liverpool is out of bounds for us at the moment while the remodelling is going on - you have to go as far as Liverpool parkway and then get the rail replacement bus service
But we are seeing Eldest child and her OH shortly - have to figure out if she has a stockists in her town
