    Good afternoon Elite

A real blustery day here, almost lost one of my best bed sheets from the linen line hanging by one peg it was . Knickers were ok although Mr AJ thought they might have blown away if I'd left them out

How is the weather in Scotland? Was it this weekend that we were under threat of getting a hit from Maria? Hope all is ok xx

As always I need to do a catch-up, I'm as far as yesterday teatime so not too bad now

Hugs to the Elite poorly and those low in spirit. You're all in my thought today xx

Good morning, its very windy this morning.
So I've spent £6.90 already because I had some vouchers for mugshots that went out of date yesterday...... I couldn't not use them and they're great to take to work as a snack.
Hospital today, same hospital, twice with two feet, this morning dd big toe, this afternoon my right foot.

    Good morning

    Hope everyone is well

Thanks so much to bubbs and 3dogs and all that contributed to the list as I managed to do a couple shops yesterday and it was very handy to be able to recall the list as I'm certainly out of practice xx

I've been up most of the night on and off thinking about my dear friend, in April this year she lost her two year old dog as she ate a toad and died from a swelling/shock. She took the plunge and got another dog and she is now 5 months old but had been poorly and was rushed in and they think she has meningitis and swelling on the brain and they are not sure if she will make it . How cruel can life be, this family love their pets so so much and treat them so well it seems unfair x

    (((x))) LEJC

So sorry I missed your birthday Poppy, hope you had a lovely day

We got back late last night from quite simply the most extraordinary, amazing holiday ever. It wasn't at all MSE and even though we started saving for it almost from the day we got married we still feel wickedly extravagant

Hope you are able to sort something out MKS. Our next door neighbour's daughter works for Monarch and mentioned a couple of weeks ago that she thought they were in big trouble. She's close to retirement so won't be too badly affected but of course lots of people will be

Back to reality for me now. All weight loss from the last couple of months has been wiped out in a week lol, so healthy eating from now on - and as I type Chris Evans had just said that it's National Chocolate Week next week

I'm visiting a homeless Project at the weekend. They've just had their shower facilities refurbished, so would like to talk them plenty of shower gel, shampoo and hand wash. I know various varieties are working but are any particularly good value please, as I'd like to take as much as I can carry on the train?

    Thanks, TM.
Managed to get another flight from a different airport but more expensive than the original cost plus now have to pay parking. The flight that I booked this morning has now doubled in price. For once, I was glad that I've not been able to sleep and woken up early.

    Countdown resumes.

Dont know what went wrong with my brand guarantee Got a few of the 2 tortillo things and more than 10 other items. Didnt get a brand match at the till. Went to customer services with my shopping and she told me not all items are in the brand match. I said its all groceries and first Ive heard of that and she said its up to head office to decide what's in the brand match. So got the tortillo things refunded Rest of my shopping was dream milk paid for with vouchers, WW bread for shopimum, 3 different flavours of dog food for CoS , various fruit and salad. Think I worked out it was 16 different items.
Just tried to check my shop on the TBG site and says my results are not ready yet

Very little chance of me catching up so I'm just going to start again from here!
Had a busy week - 550 mile trip to babysit DGDS, best friends birthday - lots to organise in secret, our 43rd() wedding anniversary - I was a child bride , new (well new to us) car for Mr Pops, friend having a hip replacement and all the usual RL things!
I really need a good kick up the backside to motivate me though, re shopping, de-cluttering, budgeting and weight - I think dear bubbs has gifted me with her weight loss!
Anyhow, hugs and good wishes to all those who need or want them.
    Onwards and upwards!
