    Scorchio............missing you Caroline Aherne.

It's hot and sunny here. I don't really like it too hot but must admit it's great for speedy drying of the washing on the line.

I've just posted in the 'In my home' board about my birdbath duties, it's a constant battle to keep water in and poop out of the birdbath.

I fancy a pineapple Mivi ice lolly. Who remembers them?

    32°C in the shade here.

Luverly. I'm going to finish my cuppa then go out and fire up the BBQ again.

Still outside enjoying the warmth. Somebody has a drone hovering overhead. No doubt relishing my two fingered salutes.

Too hot for me now but I realise we don't often get these temperatures so I wish joy to those who are enjoying the sun showing her face. I'll just stay indoors in the shade and close to the fan till she lowers her glare and heat a little.

Normally, I can get away with having no fan on and windows open a bit.

I have my tower fan on a stool on the corner of my bed and its been on constantly since 8pm last night. It took me ages to get to sleep as the noise of the fan. My bedroom is certainly better than the one I had at my parents - SSW facing and needing three fans. Then it was like trying to sleep under a helicopter taking off.

Even the annoying screaming kids aren't out!

The mention of thunderstorms disappeared from the weather forecast this morning.

I got 29.3 according to the local weather station. When I came in from work at about 2.40pm it was 118 in the conservatory Don't know what that is in new money, it's an old thermometer. I've left the doors open all afternoon and the temp has dropped to a chilly 108

It's been scorching today, had to have an ice cream to cool down

OH dragged out an air conditioning unit we've had in the cupboard for ages. It's a bit noisy but lovely and cool. I dread to think what it's going to be like upstairs
