traveling to cyprus with my wife using her ukrainian passport 18th May 17 at 11:44 PM
Hi ihope somebody can put our minds at rest.
We are due to travel to Cyprus at the end of june, my wife is Ukrainian and has lived here for 8 years and has indefinite leave to remain. We looked on the Cypriot high commissionwebsite which states she can enter Cyprus without a visa as she is married to myself and i have an EU passport.
Does anybody have any experience travelling to Cyprus like this
    thanks Mark

Having just returned from Cyprus I can't see it being a problem. More Russians and Ukraine visitors than British now, they presumably use their passports.

Looking at CIBT http://cibtvisas.co.uk/requirements your wife would require a visa if she was travelling alone. I would definitely advise that you speak to someone at the Cypriot High Commission as it also clearly says on their website that Ukraine passport holders require a visa.

The only thing that will put your mind at rest is giving them a quick call and asking if they can send a letter to you to confirm your wife will be allowed entry. Keep this letter on you in case you encounter an official who insists on her producing a visa.
