    Presentation 18th May 17 at 2:34 PM
    Hello,
Next monday I have a presentation about virtual reality. I am doing research now. But I don't know how I can start speaking. I know Wikipedia but I don't want copy-paste.
    Thanks

If you can't make yourself clear about whether you have difficulty with public speaking/presenting or with VR as a subject, I don't hold out much hope for your audience either way.

I would probably start with "Hello, my name's Fred and I am here to talk to you today about Virtual Reality.

"So what is virtual reality? Some people might say virtual reality is plonking a device on your head and gawping into space. But it's more than that as I will show you through this presentation."

    etc.

Good morning, for those of you who don't know me, my name is propanoic acid and for those of you who do know me ...... it's still propanoic acid.

I am not here, you are all looking at me in a three-dimensional, computer generated environment or, as we experts say "Virtual Reality" ................

Sheesh, talk about cutting it fine!

As far as presentations go you want to be on the level of your audience. If it's old silver octogenarians than keep things in basic concepts in "pro" and "con" terms. If it's middle agers then lots of graphics and infographics and slather on the acronyms.

If it's geeky teens, just ensure they're served high sugar drinks and it won't matter if your presentation is bad as they will be on their phone throughout it anyway.

As far as VR itself goes there were a few good articles in last months computer magazines
