Paypal fee different for same amount? 18th May 17 at 11:07 AM
I have a buy it now for £6.99 with a few available.
When I log into Paypal I usually see a credit of £6.55.

I had a sale today, but the credit is £6.41.

I thought Paypal charged a flat rate for the same price items.. or does it depend on the address of the buyer?

I can't think of any other reason it would be different, unless Paypal have changed their fees today.

Ok, but they don't use a different currency in the isle of skye do they?

Or is Paypal creaming off extra now and again hoping people won't query it?

It seems Paypal have charged 5.5% + 20p, but there doesn't appear to be an explanation as yet. Possibly a glitch.

I would call them to query

I sold something recently that incurred a 3.9% + 20p fee, think it may have been some sort of currency conversion fee.

Here's a table of the fees:
