Furniture without long delivery time? 17th May 17 at 5:01 PM
    Hi All

I need to buy a couple of sofas to furnish a new house but I don't want to wait 12 weeks for delivery.

Where's the best place to get some decent-ish, reasonably priced furniture from that don't take too long for delivery?

Also: which furniture shops generally offer the best value for money? For example some of the stuff in Next is nice but the prices make my eyes bleed!

    Cheers!

    Z

Westbridge are a big upholstery manufacturer for Next, M&S and others. Factories in North Wales but they have an outlet in Stoke (Meir Park) Whatever they have is 50% of the NExt or M&S price. THey have a 40ft trailer of sofas delivered every week. Either customer returns/cancellations or excess stock. Well worth a visit if in the Midlands

E bay often has bargains if you are happy with second hand. I see often people getting rid of furniture due to downsizing / having a change.

Not a sofa but I recently paid £30 for a solid wood Bevel Funnel dining set!

depending on the vehicle if you stick to certain types of furniture you can get them in the back of a car.

I am a fan of stressless recliners can gtee 2 of them in a smallish hatchback with the seats down.

Surprised how cheap some are on ebay(although the cheapest need some TLC).
