As the new head judge (Shirley Ballas) has been announced today I thought it was an opportune excuse to start the 2017 SCD thread!

Oh dear, Brendan will go the way of James Jordan if he carries on. Shirley's not happy with him and neither is Bruno

    Certainly a lovely looking girl.

I have just had an argument with my husband about Debbie McGee. He thinks she is like a 20 year old and amazing. I said to him that she worked as a ballet dancer and in 1980 was employed in a dance troupe as a dancer and he said that is 37 years ago and I am getting old.

I think it does make a difference if someone has done something for a career in the past but he disagrees.

Oh, Brendan, do not patronise a judge!

Well said, Bruno. Brendan doesn't even understand that he's bring criticised for calling Shirley 'My dear.'

I know! They always pick up on times when my attention is focussed elsewhere and start being very 'needy'.

Disappointing from Johnny this week. Lots of standing and waving.

Jonny, oh it’s a bit rough! I backed these as winners, but might have to think again.

Susan going for laughs, but shorter dancers will always struggle to be graceful. Good effort.

Some odd facial expressions from Susan, but you can't deny that she gives it her all!
