When things hit rock bottom the only answer is to fight the way back up... 9th May 17 at 12:47 PM
I'm back again, worse than ever to be honest. Things all hit a head in March and along with help being needed in other areas than financial I realised that the money side of things are a big issue in fixing things elsewhere.

Although not posting I have been reading the diaries I have followed, so many who helped along when I first started are happily debt free now. I want to join them one day, both in being debt free and in happiness.

Our finances on paper while tight look okay. However we both smoke and my OH is not very responsible. At all. I fell into a gambling issue which I've sought help for and not a penny has gone on gambling since March.

Our household is me (Not working, our youngest has complicated health issues), My OH he works full time with over time, and 3 delightful children

I will make a seperate post for my debts/goals and then one with our SOA when I've completed it.

Hope I can stay around to sort myself, the debt and the happiness thing out.

Well bedtime and another school day done. Cannot wait for the summer holidays, have lots of free things planned to do with the smalls, just some bus fares in there.

Didn't buy my book, I've been cleaning and baking, then watching the tennis. Maybe tomorrow

I'm actually cooking myself some dinner must be the first time in near on a week Kids have been fed, bathed and in bed. Uniforms washed and ironed ready for tomorrow and youngests things ready for her nursery visit!

Think I'll go to my sisters tomorrow after school so can have a natter and moan

Oh and another NSD at this rate will be able to pay the rent and some of the council tax this week despite OH wage being just one days pay so I won't see anything from that.

    Wednesday it is

Nursery visit went well. A lot better than I expected and I feel much happier about her starting in September.

I had an awful nights sleep with my anxiety playing up because I'd worked myself up for this morning, so I'm going to try and get a nap in today with lil one.

Not a NSD, took her to get a sweetie after being so good and making me so proud It's a huge deal for her and she did amazing.

50p spent well worth breaking a NSD for though.

Nothing much else to report, all is quiet and ticking along.

Oh well - if you've not seen OH you can't tell him stuff can you now - so that sorts out that one!

Fingers crossed for the tax rebate on the uniform laundering thing - that would be a nice little bonus wouldn't it!

Exactly he clearly doesn't care that much if he can't be bothered to discuss it. He did come home last night but I was already in bed and he'd gone to work before I got up this morning.

The form for the uniform has been sent (I did tell/ask him first )

Oh we cross posted earlier and I didn;t spot it - SO pleased the nursery visit went well - it's a big thing for any child isn't it but more so for one with health issues I bet!

Do me a favour - when that tax rebate turns up, DON'T let him get his mitts on it!

I'm so pleased the nursery visit went well and that you've decided to take the job. It's not just the money. You will be interacting with other people and it will do your self esteem no end of good. Sorry I just have to ask - if OH left before you got up did he actually make his own breakfast?

He definitely didn't make anything here He'll be home for dinner though.

    Long story/rant coming up.

June 2015 we bought a new washer and dryer from an online company Washer has done nothing but cause issues, they've repaired it 5 times in the first 12 months, I paid twice in the following 12 months and tbh since then I've just managed because I can't afford it
Anyway many complaints to B3ko and nothing just standard out of 12 month warranty not our problem. So thought I'd let the online company know how dissapointed I was, that I didn't even have a working machine for 12 weeks before it broke down and the same problem has happened repeatedly since. They said nothing to do with them but I could take their extended cover and someone would come and repair it (£140 a year but would knock £40 off because of my issues or I could have £40 off a new washer) Told him to call me next week and I'll think.

Anyway this afternoon he called back and said he'd spoken to someone higher and they would take £127.75 of any washing machine they sell (the washer minus depreciation over 2.5 years)

Spoke to mum and shes going to put the £72 to that and get a new washer delivered

Can't believe how helpful online company has been Shame same can't be said for B3ko!

Hidden, maybe it's the lawyer in me but I would have complained until they gave you a replacement for free. It's more than obvious that the machine they sold you was not fit for purpose! Seven repairs in two years is absolutely not reasonable at all. This isn't to take away from your achievement because loads of people would have kept hush about it so I'm so glad you got the £127 at least!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

New job is confirmed and tax credits have been spoken too, although I'm going to call again tomorrow to confirm what was said. Although at the rate OH is working we won't lose them, he hasn't been in work again today Oh well fed him his dinner etc and he's away to friends. No bother for me I will just enjoy the peace in a nice clean house

Kids away to bed, really on the countdown to the holidays now. We are going to make cards and gift boxes from things we've got in. Then bake cupcakes and make a little envelope with a seed and poem on for the teachers. I hope it doesn't make us look bad not spending any money

I've wrote the uniform list and I think my mum will help out with bits she usually does coats or shoes.

Going to catch up on some tv now and have a cuppa

Tennis Stamps feet not a good day. Countdown to next year starts
