You may need new gas runs to comply with any regulation chnges since the current boiler was fitted.

Do you really need a Nest, as you have chosen a combi boiler, which gives hot water on demand and a regular wi fi thermostat allows 5 temperature settings throughout the day, for weekdays and weekends separately?

I would appreciate advice to my own post on 26 April 2017 re "quote for new boiler - advice required". Have I covered all items required in the installation, before I proceed to accept the quotation. Should I copy the process again?

I have been trying also to find out the registration of the company which has quoted - is this relevant? They claim to be operating for 35 years but GasSafe has not been able to confirm (from details I have given them of name and branches in SE England). Any help gratefully received.
