Cpm private property 20th Apr 17 at 9:01 AM
Hi i parked on a small area which is managed by cpm. The area just comes off a road which is managed by the local government of course. I received a ticket on a Sunday at 9pm. I ignored the ticket because it was cpm. Yesterday I received a letter from the local authority asking for the money. Surely the ticket came from cpm and not a traffic warden. There is a sign up saying private property managed by cpm. Any advice please ?

Busy forum! Often we have 3 pages of new threads & posts every day...

And your account is confusing. UKCPM can't have issued a private parking notice which is then followed by a Council NTO.

The NTO can't be quoting the same PCN number? Must be 2 PCNs, one issued by a Council? Show us scans, hosted in tinypic or dropbox.
PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.

Like coupon-mad suggests, post up links to tinypic or dropbox to show us images of the original 'ticket', and the letter from the council. If you can get a pic of the sign you mentioned, that would be good too. Make sure you redact any identifying info on the ticket/letter, though.
