Warning - Unexpected SKY TV bills rise MSE'ers 19th Apr 17 at 4:36 PM
I signed up for the reduced Sky offer last year on MSE.
Just happened to diary it for review.
Good job I checked - my forthcoming bill in a few days days time had already almost DOUBLED to over £100 without any prior notice from SKY. This will be due in a couple of days!! (its payable in advance).
They will be getting a call tonight !

why should they notify if you deal/contracts ends?
its how they make their money. You will be tied in for a month notice period - so they will get the new charge for a month, unless you negotiate a new deal

    Just trying to help !
There were 1000's signed up with MSE around this time last year.

(Anyway I called last night & re-negotiated 30% off the TV deal for a further 18 months )

30% off isn't particularly good by the way, although if you're happy that's all that counts.

They only have to tell you about rises in the basic cost and not increases due to the end of an offer.
