Meter cupboard door hinges 19th Apr 17 at 3:19 PM
The hinges have broken on our meter cupboard door. I've ordered new ones. The top hinge appears to have snapped off. I'm hoping that this can be pulled out with a pair of pliers but wondered if there was something better that could be used.

Can you post a photo so the folks on here can see what you mean? This should lead to better advice.

Thanks Annie1960, I'll try. I haven't posted a photo on MSE so may be a while. I looked at a you tube video yesterday which shows how to replace the hinges. The top hinge is spring loaded and the new one is pushed down from the top.
