Lending Stream?? 19th Apr 17 at 1:06 PM
    Hi

I have had a search completed against my credit file from a company called Lending Stream who I believe as a pay day loan company.

I have emailed them and they say that my email isn't logged in their system and are asking full my full details ie DOB address etc. Am uncomfortable with this.

I have also emailed Experian and they are looking into it.

Has anyone had this happen to themselves?

    Thanks
    Paula.

    Some people will have.

Pursue it via Experian, rather than Lending Stream.

    Hi

It’s also worth checking your credit files held by Equifax and Call Credit, in case there are random searches showing there too.

Have you applied for a payday loan recently ?

Occasionally if you are rejected by one lender, your details get passed to another, who run a credit check to see if you meet there lending criteria.

I can't see how else they would randomly get a hold of your details.
