    Cannot get onto noddle.co.uk ... 19th Apr 17 at 9:56 AM
    Hi guys,
is it just me or does this affect others?

I try to access noddle.co.uk and the website will not load.

I've tried flushing the DNS cache and resetting proxy settings but the problem persists. This used to work (using minitoolbox) but no longer.

I have just allowed the new W10 "Creators Update" to install and cannot resolve the problem.
This also happens on sites such as trying to pay for the dartford crossing and avios.

    Anyone else? any solution?

I've tried through IE, Edge and Chrome but no joy.

    TIA
Let me Google that for you...

Go to internet options, advanced tab, scroll down to the security section and enable all the ssl and tls options.

Why do you have to reset proxy settings ? Are you on a work network ?

can you access the site OK yourself? what browser?

I checked the SSL3.0 box, others were checked already, but issue persists.

It is a personal computer. I reset the proxy settings/flush cache because that used to allow me to access these sites

Yes i can access noddle fine from here ..

And the TLS boxes ticked also ??
    Im using IE11

Im still a bit perplexed by what you mean by resetting the proxy ..

If you go to internet options, connections tab, click lan settings box, do you have anything ticked in there ?

A good test is to try with firefox, as it doesnt listen to internet options - whereas the other browsers you listed do ..

Also, what message are you getting when you try to visit the page ?

Its weird it happens at all, so wondered if anyone had any solution. I've had these acces problems for a while.

Forget the proxy thing, i think flushing the DNS cache is what worked for me, but I don't really understand the technicalities of DNS caching to understand why it happens at all.

Perhaps that has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

I'm simply hoping someone out there has come across this before and knows why it happens and how I can solve it
    .

It's not just my laptop, same on my wife's AIO also.

It also happens through other routers so its not a router-end problem afaict.

We need to ask questions to get to the answer.
My first thought was that it was security related as the pages you mention are all trying to use https, hence the checking ssl and tls settings..

Please tell me if this happens whilst using firefox, this will steer us in the right direction

    This is a long shot.

OP, are you using a UK IP address? When I am at my property in Spain, the Noddle site does not respond. To access it I have to tunnel to my UK system and then out via my UK IP address. Alternatively I use a VPN with a UK IP.

Only thing I can think of is that you are using a VPN with foreign exit IP or for some reason Noddle is seeing your UK IP as foreign.

Like I said, a long shot.

All good thanks guys and sorry for the shouting ;-)

I tried Firefox and it wouldn't load.

I am in Spain atm so I think I'll simply have to try again when I return home.

I will try removing any VPN software kicking around to see if that helps also.

    Many thanks again

You could try using TunnelBear VPN. The free version gives you 500MB a month which should be enough to check your Noddle details. Just make sure that you set TunnelBear to use a UK exit point.

    Good luck.
