Ticket machine not working 18th Apr 17 at 9:45 PM
    Hi
I parked at my local Morrisons car park a few weeks on a Sunday whilst I shopped. The car park is managed by Parking Eye. The ticket machine is located next to the lift, only it was showing as out of order so I couldn't purchase a ticket. This has been the case on the last two occasions that I have used the same car park so I haven't purchased a ticket and haven't received a fine. This time I have. I know in hindsight I should have taken a photo of the ticket machine as proof but as this has been the case on two previous occasions and there were several other people using the car park whilst in Morrisons who didn't buy a ticket due to the machine not working.
Whats the best way to go about this ?

Complain to morrissons by email and get it cancelled asap

and appeal it as keeper (not as driver) by following the advice in the newbies sticky thread near the top of this forum
    Newbies !!
Private Parking ticket? check the 2 sticky threads by coupon-mad and crabman in the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board forum for the latest advice or maybe try pepipoo or C.A.G. or legal beagles forums if you need legal advice as well because this parking forum is not about debt collectors or legal matters per se

Read the following Morrisons cases to become more aware of how to get Ms to cancel this.

You should get the drift from those. I hope you come back to update us - unlike some of the recipients of the advice in the threads above who clearly only 'take'!
