    G24 Contractual Parking Charge Notice

G24 Contractual Parking Charge Notice 15th Apr 17 at 4:39 PM
Hi all, today I received a PCN from G24 with photographic 'evidence' that I entered the car park at 9.52am and didn't leave until 14.21pm on Sunday 2 April. The facts are I did enter at that time, but to pick up a lad for a rugby match. I was in the car park less than 5 minutes. We then left to travel the 40 minutes to the game and stayed there until around 1.30pm. I returned to the car park to drop off the same lad just before 14.21pm. The people behind the PCN have not acknowledged that I left the car park just after 9.52am and arrived again just before 14.21pm.

I will obviously NOT be paying but do I complain rather than challenge it? I would also like to do it in a jovial yet sarcastic way...

This is called "double dipping" and there are many threads here you can learn from.

However you should start by reading the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum carefully - this outlines the current situation with private parking and your main avenues to challenge a ticket.

So that's the Store Manager and/or Head Office/Facebook/Twitter account you complain to.

And provide proof to G24 that this was a double visit - get corroborative proof that the car wasn't there in between. Google location on your Smartphone? A letter from other Rugby parents, or a ticket for the match if it wasn't an amateur one?

Think about proof you can provide to see this off.

Then you could complain to the ICO about data misuse and then sue G24 for damages! Not joking, covered in other data misuse threads...

PRIVATE PCN? DON'T PAY BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT TWO Clicks needed for advice:
Top of the page: Home>>Forums>Household & Travel>Motoring>Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking - read the 'NEWBIES' FAQS thread!
Advice to ignore is WRONG, unless in Scotland/NI.

I went to shop in B& M store in Tottenham, did my shopping forgot a few items and returned in store to get these items. Only to receive in the post a PCN for £90. I am single mom of two and I can't afford to pay this notice. Will be able to go in store and complain to the manager about this as I have my receipts.
