    Dolly's Savings Stashes.... 28th Mar 17 at 12:18 PM
So does anyone else have several little stashes saving for things way in advance or is that just me

I thought now that it is coming up to the new tax year I would start myself a new thread to keep a track of all my savings stashes so that I can keep the focus on topping them up each month and not borrowing from them

I swear at the end of every year I end up with a bank account with nowt in it and about a hundred IOU post it notes I have written myself for things that I have spent the money on

No more I say, no moreeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    Canada Stash

This wee stash is coming to an end as we are away in May 2017, one more wage to go then that is it.

Had a great plan from away last year that kind of fell to the wayside a bit just because I took my eye off the ball a bit.

Not gonna happen with the rest of the stashes

£298.00 transferred into the stash today.
£298.00 to be transferred to the stash on 1 May 2017.

Waiting on an acceptance or a decline on an M&S CC to see if I can use that to get a better rate on our currency for this trip.

We are going to be visiting the US so will need both USD and CAD.

    £25.00 per month

Girls trip to Edinburgh to see Dirty Dancing, planned to save each month so that I am not looking for all the spending money in June which would be a nightmare.

Once this is out of the way I will divert this £25.00 per month to the Nieces 18th Birthday Trip Stash

    £25.00 - April 2017 - Paid

Sat yesterday to try & figure out how I am going to reach each of the target amounts for these stashes.

God it's a lot of work & planning so it is!

Think I will need to go through them one at a time to get it set right in my mind what I am going to need to do.

    Update
So ordered some currency yesterday, got the best rate at Ramsdens so I need to collect it on 28 April 2017 at my local branch.

Ordered $500 USD & $1500 CAD the rest of the spends we will put on our credit card when we are away, hoping we come back with some spare cash but that has never happened before so we will see!

    23 days to go!

How exciting Dolly, only 23 days left !

Did you get a better rate on your currency since the announcement of the general election ? It was reported that the pound was at a 2 1/2 month high.
