I have a 1st class honours degree in Law..My wifes father also went on to obtain a Masters degree in applied Mathematics..

So yes I think I am pretty clever..However I remain humble despite my superior intellect.

How are you defining the word "clever"?

Yup, I'm clever. Came top of my year at school in both my GCSEs and A Levels. It was only at Uni that I realised there were plenty of people cleverer than me (or perhaps it was just because I come from a rural backwater where your cousin is considered to be a distant relative...)

I'm not clever, but I am pretty sure that people are getting more and more stupid. What has happened to peoples general knowledge? I am constantly amazed by the amount of things that people don't know!

There are some things at which I am clever, and many more things at which I am not.

If I am good at something that others are not, I will appear clever to them. If I am rubbish at something that others are not, I will appear to be the opposite.

I think it all depends on your point of reference.

    Bubbling larva?

Edit. Image deleted. It was a mosquito larva with bubbles.

I think you're underestimating yourself, Tommix!
