Not sure if I'm going to get told off for this since I'm not sure why the last one migrated, but...

    Post your irritations!

"Your order has been despatched" Yay!
..."Via Hermes" Well that's a load of online shopping I won't be seeing anytime soon then. Might as well have strapped the parcel to the back of a senile badger and sent it off in to the world.

TSB doesn't let you close bank accounts online (or if it does, they hide it well). Lloyds does, though. I feel like they should have the same functionality since they're basically the same bank.

I just discovered that I've accidentally bought the most awkward ready meal in existance (I don't need free from stuff, I had a voucher). Part of it needs to be cooked in the oven, part of it needs to be done in the microwave. That's what I get for not reading the instructions carefully--I just saw microwave instructions and thought it was microwaveable.

It's only if you are using the oven to cook the main part, that you need to heat the sauce in the microwave.
If you want to use the oven, you could always just pour the sauce over it, in the oven, 5 mins before end of cooking time, etc.

I've stuck it the freezer. Will have to wait until I have an oven again.

The instructions on the link say this, though..........

    Instructions:
800W 2 1/2 mins 900W 2 mins Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 2 minutes 30 seconds (800W) / 2 minutes (900W). Remove film, stir rice thoroughly and serve with the chicken. Remove plastic insert, stir sauce and serve with the rest of the meal.

Edit. Right, I've now read it for the fourth time, and I see what you mean!

I'd have given myself salmonella poisoning!

    Confusing all round.

Why isn't chicken suitable for microwaving? Do you mean general cooking or reheating? I always reheat in the microwave.

I'm cold, and the heating's just come on.
And it's nearly the end of May.
Heating shouldn't still be coming on.

    So tonight's bus journey.....

The bus was waiting and left straight away...
It was not full so not squished....
    Traffic was not bad.....
And on the way I nabbed a free Orange and cashew nut cookie while passing through M&S...

As a result this is in the wrong thread
