Home made yogurt question 17th Mar 17 at 9:05 PM
I'm currently doing slimming world and don't want to wreck the progress I have made. Yogurt is a free food but only if it is fat free. I make my own yogurt using UHT skimmed milk and fat free yogurt but today in a fit of stupidity bought Yeo valley light and mild, which has 3.1g of fat per 100g.

If I use it with skimmed UHT will the whole litre of yogurt I make end up as 3.1g fat or not? It seems such a simple question but after talking about it for hours, we are all befuddled!

Low fat products are bad for the human body as we need healthy fat to live.

Calories can be cut by removing carbs rather than fat.

Best yoghurt to get is full fat with live cultures.
