Severe Disability Premium 15th Mar 17 at 8:47 PM
My mum has recently been in hospital twice with a gap between the admissions and a temporary stop in a care home, prior to this she received pension credit, Severe disability premium & Attendance allowance, the latter has stopped & restarted but the Severe Disabilty Premium ceased and not restarted, will I have to reclaim this benefit or will it be picked up now her AA has restarted? Thanks

Is she back living somewhere on her own and no-one claiming carer's allowance for her?

You need to inform them that she is back home, pension credit that is. Did they know about the first discharge and subsequent re admission?
