Can PPI be claimed after filing bankruptcy 15th Mar 17 at 7:21 PM
    Hi
My husband filed for bankruptcy 7 or so years ago which is all cleared. However he is still being contacted regarding PPI claims.
Is he able to claim PPI on loans etc that he ended up going bankrupt through not paying?
    Thanks

Pre-bankruptcy assets (including PPI refunds) belong to the OR, they can really come back and bite if you try and claim and don't give the OR the money. It's rare your finances would be bad enough to need BR and get enough PPI back to get any debts so you'd get to keep some
