    I currently have this type of timer on my boiler

    and was wondering if it would be possible to change to a digital timer similar to the photo below. Thanks

    It would probably be cheaper to buy a external timer and fit that

    I agree, get a much better external programmer, those often go wrong and are difficult to program.
