Using allowance at end of data only contract

I have a data only SIM on a 30 day rolling contract with iD. I've given them 30 days notice as I'm changing to another provider.

My contract with iD ends on 2nd April but my usual bill date is around the 10th of the month. I get 5GB of data per month. Does this mean that I get a proportion of my allowance - a month minus 8 days, so around two thirds of 5GB?

Thanks for any replies.

your bill date and allowance end date are 2 different things usually.

Allowing a bit of time to generate the bill.

Stop using it before the 2nd of april

I'd have to stop using it by then anyway, as it will be cut off. The bill date and allowance end date to seem to be the same.

I've already got the new SIM so the contracts are overlapping but it would be handy to use the old SIM for work temporarily, as I'm waiting for a dongle.
