What would you spend it on?

New white goods, get the bathroom rewired (& painted, ahem) and blue the rest (if any) on a haggis supper all round.

Complete revamp and update of the house, with a designer to organise it.

The only thing I'd keep would be the lovely old chesterfield. Dining room and kitchen are fine, too. We had them done last year.

Rethink - if we can be really extravagant, tickets for us to go on The Lions Tour of New Zealand!
