    If a bodyshop conducts repairs and you are unhappy and give them a chance to improve the repair but your still not happy - can you get the vehicle repaired elsewhere and then claim money back from original bodyshop

    You're within your rights to get it repaired elsewhere and put in a claim but it would most likely be something that ends up being resolved in front of a judge and there's no guarantee of a win. Your claim for example could be unrealistic and fail, i.e you had a dent repaired on a door which needed a respray, you were told that because its metallic or a certain colour the whole side of the car needs to be done to ensure it doesn't stand out but you choose to opt for blending in so it sticks out like a sore thumb.

    So I took my car to a second accident repair centre and they said there is 2k worth of damage behind the bumper

    The original accident repair centre have dinged it and tried to cover it up by gluing things together

    How that can still be a consumer issue rather than fraud beats me
