    Loan problem

Loan problem 10th Mar 17 at 11:15 AM
    Morning everyone

I took out a loan at the beginning of this year to consolidate some other loans (worked out rather well actually - paying less per month and less overall!).

Unfortunately I have lost a key customer in my business (self employed) and have taken the decision that enough is enough and I need to close it and do something else. Various other issues contributing... weak pound etc

I'm hoping to keep up with repayments but may need to seek out a debt solution or ask for a payment holiday. Can XX Bank do me for fraud for taking out the loan and then stopping employment? I gave them average income figures for last year before it all went pear shaped and had no idea this year would go so wrong.

I assume that you WILL get another job to pay for day to day stuff so best to try and keep up with the payments and ask about payment holidays rather than flat defaulting as that will stay on your credit file for 6 years.

    Good luck

    Hi,
I agree with foxy-stoat, You should try to get a new job so you can easily pay your loan.

Got to admire the long term game plan though.
