Active Life Ignoring Telephone Preference Scheme 9th Mar 17 at 12:14 PM
Had a phone call yesterday originating from 02038 757288

Caller said that her name was "Melony" and that she was calling from Active Life about our Private Health Insurance. We do not have any such thing and certainly would not consider any offered from such a scum-sucking, TPS-ignoring company as theirs.

Some cold-calling firms actually view it as worth the (tiny) risk of action against them by abusing the TPS no-call list.

Already discussed/highlighted on umpteen other TPS threads here.

Why would expect companies like this to honour the TPS.

Just buy a call blocking telephone.

How are those PPI companies a scam? They help people out with PPI claims and take a percentage as commission. Their fees are clearly set out and there is no evidence that they have been involved in any way with the cold calling...

Maybe a "brilliant idea" would be for me to email the owners of the two PPI websites and advise them that you are providing false information for the sole purpose of wasting their time.
