Well done on the wins leanfun. I won a hotel stay last year that included afternoon tea and have to say all the tea leaves put me off!!! I like my tea leaves safely in their little bags .
The sanwiches and cakes were nice though.

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok. It's another beautiful day here
so will be making the most again out gardening! I had a
very productive day yesterday - the top soil will be arriving today
so it's going to be all go!

Well yesterday brought two wins. In the post tickets for a Kent craft fair in September.
Then a WEM to say I had won a Wimbledon Tea at a London Hotel.
    From this Firefly
    http://tennisthreads.net/win-with-wimblewin-day-2-champagne-afternoon-tea-at-lancaster-london/

Tea doesn't agree with me at all, I couldn't be in a room with a lot of people drinking it. I went in for it for my SIL who loves champagne and lives near the hotel. She is delighted and I think a friend who has been working with the Fire desaster is going with her. Chuffed all round.

    Good Morning,

Had a fairly wet night but sun is trying hard to come out now although not sure it is going to succeed. Another wet night forecast and rain all day tomorow so no drought here.
Our neighbourhood sparrows are chirping away, think it is time they flew off and found their own homes. They are so noisy and so many of them! Never seen (or heard) as many sparrows.

The hedge cutter is pretty big and scary looking, don't think I will be using it but DH seems to think it will be a help. He did trim one bush down with it yesterday.

Didn't know it was the Happiest Day Alfie - don't feel any different myself! (maybe another win would help )

    Good Luck everyone.

    Morning,

Thanks for reminding us it is St Swithin's day Alfie - bucketing down here! (supposed to be nice and sunny tomorrow and next day)

Sad about tinks - 34 is so young to die.

DS3 supposed to be coming home for 2 wks on Sun or Monday but hasn't told us which yet. Of course railways have closed down most of the line to Dumfries so he will need to get a bus part of way. More sensible just to get bus all the way there and save money but doubt he will.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Sun shining away here and forecast good so will have to get back into the garden. Never seen the shrubs growing so quickly.
Hope it dries up for you FF. Pies and crumbles would be lovely but trying to eat healthily to lose some pounds and help Dhs blood pressure. Seems to be helping blood pressure but slow on the weight!
Ds3 coming home tomorrow so that won't help either especially if he cooks, which I am meaning him to do occaisonally.

Hope you had nice day off indie and got the washing dry. For once all my washing is up to date! Bet DS3 brings load with him though.

Glad your family having a good time rose. Used to love our family holidays in the sun. Must admit I get bored after a few days now, not the same without sand castles to build, crabs to look for and kids to swim with. DH not keen on the water. DH wants to go abroad more but I love exploring the UK more and guess who books the holidays

    Have a lovely day everyone.

EDIT - Forgot to say I won a Marsden's T-shirt on their daily this morning
