Porto Cristo will be nice rose, although busy through the day with tourists going to the Caves of Drach. I am a big fan of Majorca, used to go lots with all the kids but only been once last 10 years I think which was this year.
Great fun exploring in the north!
Good Luck for October Everyone x

I can thoroughly recommend Hairspray sheils .... saw the
show up in London a few years back .... absolutely
brilliant! My kids also treated me to the DVD.

Beautiful morning here again. Glad you got your rain at last Alfie!
Don't thnk we are due any rain until Saturday which suits me fine.
Back lawn needs cutting, DH cut front yesterday and tackled huge shrub at the front. It was one we couldn't cut back last year as Gas workers had pavement dug up in front of it for 2 months so it is well out of control. So many cuttings from it though we had to stop. Got a new electric hedgecutter coming today so hoping that will assist in controlling our garden as DH finding it hard going these days especially as we go away so much. I have the flower beds to look after as he doesn't know a flower from a weed.

Going to visit my parents this morning. DD visited them last night and said they were fine so will see.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Good luck to all.

Morning, raining here and has been all night. They have said it will dry up as the day goes on. Saves watering the plants and the rain we have had over the last couple of days has done them a lot of good. I'm working a late today so just having a lazy morning. Hope you all have a good day.

Morning. We came home yesterday. It was good spending time with DS and GKs. Just been reading back. Have tried to catch up on some comps as next few weeks are going to be very busy. Will try to pop in.

Rose hope your family have great holiday.

Sheils Great you had good time away and Congrats on your win. We didn't see Hairspray but DD1 did and rated it highly. Your other option sounded good too.

Alfie and Firefly hope you are really enjoying the summer. I love being able to go out in garden even if ours needs loads of work.

Indie hope you enjoyed your day off. Let's hope work will be a bit better now weather is a bit cooler.

Sylvia well done on doing bedroom. Once finished you will be so pleased. Flat must nearly be how you want it. Great your DH has taken interest in birds and magpies haven't chased some away as happened here.

Wingo not long till holidays hope you have a great time with your family.

Hope everyone keeps well and good luck.

    Good morning all
It's another beautiful day here, sun is shining away.

Must admit ... the garden has really perked up after the
rain t'other night .... even the grass is looking greener!

Have to pop out this morning to order some more top
soil and various other gardening bits and bobs - it's
going to be a pleasure working out there today cos the
day has a lovely fresh feel about it.

Sounds like you had a great time with your DS and GKs
    leanfun.

Is anyone watching 'Joanna Lumley's India'? It's
    absolutely fascinating.

Well - time for another cuppa me thinks before I crack
on! Have a wonderful day all - will catch up later.

Well no rain for us, in fact we went and watered the Acer that we planted last month. Sun is shining although think it is to turn cloudy later.
The hedge cutter arrived 2 hours late yesterday at about 5.30pm so DH hasn't had a chance to use it yet. He is going to have a go with it later although we have shopping to do and in the afternoon he has to go to the hygienist to get some gum work done!
Washing and ironing all up to date, just got to put it away now.
    Wishing everyone a lucky day.

Very heavy day here today. Like you Sheils sun coming out occasionally.

Well yesterday brought two wins. In the post tickets for a Kent craft fair in September.
Then a WEM to say I had won a Wimbledon Tea at a London Hotel.
    From this Firefly
    http://tennisthreads.net/win-with-wimblewin-day-2-champagne-afternoon-tea-at-lancaster-london/

Tea doesn't agree with me at all, I couldn't be in a room with a lot of people drinking it. I went in for it for my SIL who loves champagne and lives near the hotel. She is delighted and I think a friend who has been working with the Fire desaster is going with her. Chuffed all round.

Hope everyone is well. Good luck all.
