Hi everyone, a scorcher here too, trouble is we are not used to it LOL.

Well done on your win firefly, I also received the same but x 2 for some reason. Please let me know if you find out where it came from.

DH had a lovely Father's day yesterday with some nice pressies too. Also we got took to Beefeater which was a nice treat for us. Hope everyone else had a good day.

Evening peeps. Was such a nice night friend and I went out for a walk. I am back home shattered and sweaty so off for a shower in a minute. Eyes and skin are also itching so there must be a lot of pollen about. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.

also have a monthly competition (ending Dec 2017) .....

To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is send us

    paint.

Where possible, your photo should show the can of rust-oleum
    paint that has been used.

Each month our panel of judges will select the most original and

runners up will each receive a bumper pack of rust-oleum spray
    paint.

day leanfun! Well done to him.

Love the way fred is enjoying feeding and watching the
little birds and squirrels visiting yours sylv. I can merrily
while away my time doing the same - absolutely fascinating.
How's little Douglas doing? He sounds such a lovable
    character!

Have to agree with firefly on the cooling mats Alfie. Got one for Lottie before we went away, Lottie is not impressed but DH put it on his tummy as Lottie usually snuggles up to him, clipped into her harness oviously, so it cooled DH which in turn cooled Lottie so job done. Got mine from Pets and Home but they do have them in B & M but not tried theirs.

Its a lot cooler here today but still pleasant.

Douglas went to the parlour for her first puppy groom and wash and Oh what a delightful boy he is.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

We are with DS and went to meet my brother and his daughter and her son for lunch. Not long back and it's 30 degrees. Better where you are Sylvia.

Hope you are keeping cool Alfie and Firefly. The mat seems a good idea for cats and dogs.

Evening all I've got a bit of a headache so off to bed soon but I was reading earlier when fire**fly mentioned the cooling pet towel and I've just spotted them on an ad on fb for b&m only £2.49 and they've also got an ice-cream cooling toy for same price too. I wouldn't mind getting one myself!
Well done on your DVD win fire**fly
Leanfun, hope you've had a good day with family
Stay cool tonight and tomorrow everyone as it looks like another muggy night & day. I think we've got thunderstorms on the way though!

    Good morning everyone

After an extremely muggy night - once again it's going to be
    another scorcher here today.

Desperate now for a cracking big thunderstorm to clear the
air and give the land a good drenching!

Am guessing there will be torrential rain soon as it's the
    start of Glastonbury Festival today!

Many thanks for the cool mat link fire**fly - it must be very
popular - got: Currently unavailable. We don't know when or
if this item will be back in stock.

Will keep googling today - am guessing all the cooling mats
will be selling out quickly due to heatwave.

Love your story about Lottie and fred sylv re cool mat -
brilliant! Bet Douglas loved his first visit to the grooming
    parlour.

It's the same here leanfun re temperature - bloomin' hot!
Hope you had an enjoyable lunch with family also hope
you're managing to keep cool too.

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care
    whatever you're up to.

I trust your headache has now gone Wingo, big hugs for you. Not all that long until the Summer holidays now.

Been to knit and natter today, it was good to meet up with friends and chat.

Happy anniversary Sylvia and Fred. Hope you have a very enjoyable day.

We came home yesterday evening. The heat hit us after the air con in car.
It feels much cooler this morning.

Yesterday I found a WEM saying I'd won a John Grisham book and I could choose from about five books. It said everyone receiving email was put in for competition. I must look back to find it.

Irony is we cleared hundreds of books from house when I retired. Just down to DHs sports books. I now have a pli! f new reading awaiting.

Hope everyone has a good and lucky day.
