Glad you both had a good break Sheils and Sylvia Hope you don't have too much washing to do!

Happy birthday to your GS Leanfun and hope he's enjoyed his day xx

That's good you've almost finished decorating fire**fly, it's a great feeling when it's done! We haven't seen the squirrels for a while here. They were in the big tree at the back of garden but not sure where they've gone. Do our get any red squirrels? Apparently they are trying to bring them back by reducing some of the grey squirrels!

Alfie you are always on the go! Haha! Good luck with the garden and I will pray for some sun

Welcome back chickaroonee I remember you and your great sig too! Hope you are feeling better now and good luck with comping again.

Has anyone been watching broadchurch? I don't think it's as good as first series but still enjoyable! I like Olivia Coleman, great actress.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone!

raid the nut house we put up for them ages ago
    hope yours show soon
they are so funny to watch specially
when the magpies follow them & pinch all the
    nuts they bury
didn't watch tele tonight as was listening to music
    while comping

    Good morning everyone

Hope you're all fine n' dandy on this beautiful morning!

It was the most gorgeous day here yesterday, warm and
sunny ... I think the whole world and his wife were out
mowing and pottering about in their gardens.

Hi chickaroonee and a big welcome back .... I can
remember you and your brilliant sig! Hope you are
    feeling better now.

Welcome back sylv and sheils - sounds as if you both had
    a wonderful time.

I'm watching Broadchurch wingo - think it's amazing (must
admit though I didn't see the first series - must make a
note to myself to watch it!). Incredible acting by all!

Sounds as if you all had a brilliant weekend leanfun! Belated
    birthday wishes to your GS.

Have a lovely and lucky Tuesday all and take care.

Morning everyone, thanks for the welcome back

It does feel very spring like doesn't it? The birds keep waking me up now with their singing, seems surreal, we had snow a week ago!

Hope everyone has a good day

Sun out here again too, enjoying being able to get out for long walks.
Could do to do some more gardening though. We did mow the front lawn last week and I did pull out some stray grass from the flower beds.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Morning all. Sunny here too. Thanks all for great pics.

Sylvia great you had a good time. Lo about charger. We are always losing things here.

Rose great your pain didn't last.

Thanks all DGS had great two days celebrating his birthday.

Wifi here was not covering whole house very well, so at night if I woke up it kept going off. Two people said to buy a booster off Amazon only about 15 - 20. So when DD2 was here SIL advised which one to buy. It was no prob setting up now I can sit in bed and Comp should I wake up.

Enjoy your walk to shop Firefly. Sun has gone in here as I write.

Alfie I might make it into garden today. Enjoy yours and take it easy.

Can't believe how March is flying by.

    Good luck everyone.

Morning again peeps. Went out to post some mail (it is blowing a gale). Got to where post box should have been and it wasn't there. Metal pole it sat on was there but no box. What is that all about? Are P.O reducing the number of boxes?. Had to walk up to box at Post Office. Was going to go in to ask about it but it was really busy.

    Well done Rose.

Great you made it out FireFly. DH went shopping for a few bits earlier but I didn't venture out. Turned cold here too.

Hi Stephanie good luck with comps.

Mmm...coffee and a cob sounds delicious fire**fly and so much nicer when you're out and about to eat it. That does seem odd them moving PO but not post box! DD1 thought it was hilarious that the bus shelter had gone down the lane as it was there this morning! She actually thought someone had pinched it! It took a lot of explaining to her that workmen had moved it temporarily!

Welcome back StephanieCarr and fingers crossed for that car win! I think the majority of comps now are fb and twitter. I just tend to enter the odd couple on fb.

It was a bit cold and windy today Leanfun, even Jasper refused to go out so I had to pick him up to send him out. I'm sure he's peed on his dog bed too as it smells awful!

Hope it wasn't blowing a hooly for you in the garden Alfie!

Well done on the razor Rose!

I got another sample of Dior Poison in today
Me and DD1 went to the amusements tonight for a bit while DD2 was in gymnastics. I just went on 2p machines for the tickets that DD's saving for prizes. It's nice to get out for a bit!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone!

Sun not out here this morning but am hopeful!
Got lots of ironing to do and beds to change so should be another busy day. Do have a ready meal cod Mornay for dinner though so only potatoes and veg to make. Love a nice easy meal occaisonally. DHs blood pressure been behaving under our healthier regime so can have an odd ready made meal. We do have homemade soup and bread left from yesterday for lunch so that will be nice and healthy anyway!
My T-shirt from Wychwood arrived yesterday, ordered it in Dhs size so he is pleased with it. He already has Halloween ones but this is a music one. Won 1 on GfK media the other day, not much but they all add up over the year as get one every few weeks.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    Good morning everyone

Another decent weather day here - bright but tad cloudy
sky (if you know what I mean) but it's looking as if
it will turn out sunny as the day goes on.

'Apparently' the remnants of Storm Stella (from USA) are due
here this coming Friday which will put an end to our balmy
spring weather! The worst affected areas are meant to be
Southern England and the North West!

Morning again peeps. Went out to post some mail (it is blowing a gale). Got to where post box should have been and it wasn't there. Metal pole it sat on was there but no box. What is that all about? Are P.O reducing the number of boxes?. Had to walk up to box at Post Office. Was going to go in to ask about it but it was really busy.

dealers! The villagers were quite rightly upset as
many, especially the elderly, relied on the local post
    boxes.

Lol at your story fire**fly of the PO being moved but the
post box staying! Same with your story wingo of the
    'missing' bus stop!

I agree - it's most definitely done to confuse us!

Yesterday I entered a 'Seeds for Bees' giveaway from Beefayre
so got fingers n' paws crossed for that - love doing all I can
to attract wildlife into my garden.

Stephanie - Lovely to 'see' you and good luck with
    comping and winning a car.

Well - had better try to catch up with comps - as per usual
