Had a windy night and morning and been quite a few showers but washing is nearly all done even the ironing (apart from about 8 T-shirts)
Loving all the Autumn pics thank you FF and Alfie.
Poor DH had to go to the dentist today with an infection in his gum, he was due to see the hygienist tomorrow anyway but had been having bother on our break. He has got antibiotics now anyway so hopefully feel better soon.
    Anyone had a win yet?
Good Luck for October Everyone x

    hi bangbangbazo,
there's search on MSE but it's not often I use it
as I just tick/cross the comps as they're posted
daily so not sure about about filtering sorry,
if I may suggest you may be better to ask on the
main chat forum where lots start a thread with
their Q's as more members/peeps visit that part of the
forum so hopefully more may be able to help,

    good luck x
have a lovely day all & fingers crossed for all

    Good morning everyone

I hope you're all well - it's another beautiful morning here
    - yesterday we had rain but not until late evening so
hopefully today will be the same! It's also a tad chilly
    here too fire**fly. Brrrrr!

My thoughts and prayers are with all the innocent people
and their families/friends affected by the recent tragic events
    in America. xxx

Sorry to hear about your DH sheils ... hope he feels a bit
better today and all goes well at the hygienists. xxx

Lol! I was watching my local news programme yesterday
evening and they have a new weatherperson taking over
from the lovely Simon Parkin - does anyone remember
him from the Broom Cupboard BBC?

    https://radiotoday.co.uk/2017/06/simon-parkin-to-host-daily-bbc-somerset-show/

Anyhow during the filmed interview (with the new weather
girl), I think they had been out earlier chatting to various
local people about the British weather and most came to
the conclusion that it's what us Brits love to talk about and
someone suggested that it was mainly the elderly who
    always brought the subject up!

Thanks for the info aflieablue and firefly. I have a couple more question. 1. Is there a way to use those filters so i can only get those open to everyone comps. 2. Is there a place online that is similar to this forum but more for USA. 3. There are words that have different meanings between the two continents. I am wondering if there is another word competitions. Wow, i just realized how stupid that sounds.

Have had a busy morning with DH going to hygienist and then visiting parents before doing a big shop at Tesco. DH is feeling a bit sore with the work he had done today but with that and the antibiotics that should hopefully be him! Thanks for the concern all

    Don't recognise Simon Parkin Alfie.

Does everyone remember me moaning about the Gas guys working on the road last October? (thought you might!) Well they have arrived to do the upper part of the road starting on the house nextdoor, which is having their drive extended and some trees cut down, vehicles, signs and cones everywhere - pandemonium !
We did get car back into drive, hopefully be ok when drive work next door is finished and Gas men move their work up the hill. We don't need to venture up the hill at all.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    Good Morning,

Set to be a wet day here although tomorrows forecast looks nice.
Maybe I will get my T-shirts ironed at last!
We will be heading off to Great Yarmouth on Sunday, staying at Thirsk on the way so will need to get ourselves organised again quickly. My mum and dad have hospital appointments after we get back and my dad needs a serious operation so we will be at home for a while after that.
DD coming for dinner tonight as we haven't seen her for over 2 wks although we do speak everyday. Her bf is away doing a fire engine driving course so hope he passes. She has got her next placement and it is a cancer ward so it will be a difficult 6wks for her. Must admit I couldn't do the things she does.

Well done on the wins indie and hope the car isn't too expensive.

Hope everyone has a lucky day.

    sheils x

EDIT : Love the little frog FF!

    Good morning everyone

I hope you're all ok. It's a beautiful weather day here
today so must catch up with gardening.

It was a perfect day yesterday actually to get out there
but got caught up with other things.

Still got a list of to do things as long as my arm - the
days seem to be whizzing by now - it's exactly 87 days,
14 hours and counting until Xmas!

Lovely wins indie. Very well done!

Have a lovely meal tonight with DD sheils - hope all goes
well with her bf's fire engine driving course.

Lol! Love your little pic fire**fly!

Well must skedaddle - got a busy day!

Have a lovely and lucky Wednesday all and please take
    care whatever you're up to!

    Morning All!

Thanks for the welcome back! Had a very busy weekend with the folks visiting. Managed to get a few comps in, but only TW/FB ones really. Did get a win notification from an Insta comp though, so that was cool!

I remember, when I was comping loads before, I used to do a check every day or so for comp notifications I might have missed but I can't remember how I did that. Any tips? I thought there was a website or something, from memory, but I can't remember it or find it. lol

Hope you're all well. Hugs and lucky dust to all!

Hey everyone I haven't forgotten you all, just haven't been comping and can't keep my eyes open when I come in from work! I'm drained Funnily enough though, even though I haven't been comping I still managed to win somehow! I've won an afternoon tea and I got an email earlier from boom25 to say I've won my money back 39 I've been ordering a couple of things in for Xmas but the order was from a while ago too!

It certainly is creeping up on us fire**fly! Did you see on tv this morning when they were saying they start Xmas too early now? I agree, it should be November!

What a nightmare you've had with the car Sheils! Glad it's ok now though! Good luck to DD in her next placement. Oncology wards are the toughest.

Hope your DH is feeling better now Leanfun xx

Seaton Carew still has one of the best beaches Sylvia, my kids love it. It would be nice if they added a bit more to the seafront. Great fish n chips though too

Well done on the wins indie

Euronorris, I used to check for wins with social search too on twitter/fb or wherever you comp

Loved the little poems Alfie! My fave used to be...'Today I saw a worm wriggling on its belly. It wouldn't let me pick it up, so I squashed it with my welly!' I once told my DD that and she told the teacher it and got a warning for it! Sounds like you've had a good productive day, I need to go round all my windows, the cobwebs keep appearing!

I've booked up to go to Blackpool again for a couple of days when kids are off. There's plenty to do for them there. I've got about 12 free cinema tickets too from a few I've won previously and from the sweet wrappers but there's nothing on the pics we want to see yet!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone!
