The Smoosh Bottle........... 17th Jan 17 at 10:40 AM
Anyone else have one of these at home for all the loose change or smoosh as we call it?

We had quite a bit in various different tins & jars so I picked up one of those huge plastic coke bottle banks & the aim is to keep adding the smoosh from our purse & wallet until its full to the brim.

I'm gonna start getting some money bags stocked up from the bank in preparation of cashing it in(bit premature I know but I like to plan ahead ).

Our aim for the smoosh is..........well we don't actually have one Will wait until we cash it in then decide what to use it for.

    Aw thanks lovely.

We had such a great time, can't believe it's done already.

Next trip for us is Fort William in August, just a wee overnight stay & a trip on the Jacobite steam train.

So I have £2.15 in my purse to add to the smoosh bottle when I get home, hopefully DH will have some too!

    Another £1.55 added today.

Might aswell while I have the funds, they will run low towards the end of the month so the deposits to the smoosh bottle will slow down soon enough.

So my Mum bought me this lovely wee terramundi pot for my £2.00 coins ages ago, DH smashed it last night to get some of the coins with designs on them to put in his friends Dad's Fathers Day card

Now I don't grudge him the coins but I just wish he would have managed it without destroying the thing

Plus there was 18 fancy coins in there & I never got the chance to see if any of them were worth any good cash - doubt it right enough

Anyway I have £98.00 worth of them which I have transferred into another tin.

So I should have around another £20ish for the smoosh bottle this week.

It's my bosses birthday so we have all chipped in, I used Amazon vouchers that I got doing surveys to pay for the gift so I will put all the smoosh into my banks!

    Yay!

Emptied out my tins & the piggy bank this week to pay for out time off on our Anniversary next month.

Will start adding to them again to let them build back up.

The smoosh bottle remains untouched, still on plan to just fill that up to the top then count it all.

£250.00 out of the tins & piggy bank! Not bad for just bunging away all the smoosh in your pockets.
