Bog Rolls! 9th Jan 17 at 9:33 PM
I'm trying to sort out a good price for bog rolls. My brain has seized Between Costco and Amazon and supermarkets - is there any one that's a great price and good value?

Recent convert to Nicky after a new Home Bargains opened. I like the scented ones as its a small bathroom and makes it smell nice.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama

I've found the quality seems to have gone downhill recently from Asda and Aldi and previously soft ones aren't now. The best I have found is Waitrose essential. I chose one as one of my favourites with My Waitrose card so get 20% off and now I get 9 for I think it is around 2.80. It seems very reasonable for properly soft rolls!
My "thanks" button doesn't always work (probably my way out of date ipads fault!) So thank you in advance if it looks like I haven't pressed yours. I've most likely tried to!

I buy Andrex in bulk from amazon.

    Price ranges from 16 - 20 for 45 rolls.

I pay with my giftcards earnt on swagbucks so in effect cost me nothing (but my time of course)

Also make sure my order is over 20 to qualify for free delivery.

I think Amazon might be the best way for me as well. Checking what I have here, the one with most bogroll and least hole in the middle is Sainsbugs recycled. But they're a horrible dirty concrete sort of colour.

Cushelle from Lidl....24 rolls/2ply/180 shts per roll/120x104.5mm/54.7 area/length 21.6m....never more than 8 and usually 7.75p'ish and seems not the best value.
    A worthy study.

I got 90 rolls on Groupon early last year, down to about 20 rolls now!

Can't remember cost, but worked out very cheap per sheet and they're good and sturdy!!

Have you tried there Kirkland brand toilet roll, it's really good value. Problem is I can't remember the price just now, sorry. It's slightly more expensive, though sure there's more on the roll and it's great quality.

I recently bought some "CosySoft" fromPoundstretcher, 2x18 rolls for 5. They do the job but I won't bother again. I'll stick to what I know!

The price you quote is 3.50 minus 70p My Waitrose card. If you pick a time when they are on offer for 2 packs for 6 you can get them for 2.30 per pack.

With that offer I recently bought 54 rolls for 13.80. A years supply ( curries not withstanding).

Plus you can always get a code for waitrose for so much off a home delivery you buy bog rolls dirt cheap.

    Edit : T roll info.

9 roll pack. 240 sheets per roll. Sheet size 124x104 mm. Total 9 roll area 27.85m2.

Colours available are White and Champagne (very light yellow/orange).

Another vote for Waitrose toilet rolls, as Robin says having them as a PYO when buying when they are 2 packs for 6 makes them a really good buy.
