    Walk 2000 miles in 2017 22nd Dec 16 at 8:29 AM
Myself and bugslet have decided to target walking 2000 miles in 2017.

Although a big target, I think it is achievable with consistent effort.

Anyone who wants to join us, feel free to post on this thread. Also feel free to post updates on your progress.

    Good luck and stride on!

    Hi Tracy

With that late start and those miles, you should make the 1000 mark before new Year.

I’m up to 1724 miles, 3,950,550 steps and 13245 floors, all well and good and on target until a silly accident today which has left me with a broken ankle and my leg in plaster. Safe to say I’m now going to struggle to hit the 2000 miles with 4-6 weeks in plaster. It’s going to be difficult going from 5-10 miles a day to nothing for a week and limited movement after that.

I’ve never had a problem with my Fitbit syncing but I know sometimes it can cause issues if you sync the phone to in car Bluetooth

You need to restart your phone/tablet/whatever you are using in order for the update to register, leave it off for at least a few minutes. A common problem unfortunately

I feel like I have been slacking this week, first time for ages that I have done less than 70 miles

Less than 300 to go though so I can afford to take it easy
