Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2017 13th Dec 16 at 8:02 PM
Welcome to PART 1 OF Pay ALL Your Debt Off By Xmas 2017!

Firstly I would like to welcome all new and existing members from last years thread.

Anyone is welcome to join this challenge and it is NEVER too late. There is also no amount of money too small or too large that will stop you from joining this challenge. We have several members who will be on their debt journey for several years to come, but they are part of this thread to pay off a fixed amount of their debt as the support on here is fantastic!
So, if you think you can pay off all your debts by Christmas or have a goal to pay off a certain amount then please join in!

This challenge runs until 27th December 2017.

To help me run this thread easily, could you please all post your totals in large text and in a bold colour and post the amount you have paid off // target amount

It would also be a big help if you could also put with it your challenge number.
i.e. another £50 paid off so now the total paid off for

    #001 is £315.43/£7685.67
By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

    Hello everyone!

Been making lots of odd payments over the last week, so it's easier to put it together as a total.

I have paid back £9,790 and owe £210.

The end is in sight, but don't think I'll be able to make any more payments until next month as have home insurance renewal coming up.

This forum really has helped keep me focused, thank you Muppets for running it.
Lots of good luck, kind wishes and well dones! to you all. Every payment is a step in the right direction.

Hello, I've had a terrible month money-wise, My sister was down for the weekend, unplanned dinner and drinks out with a colleague and a 30th birthday night out that cost more than hoped.

Trying to be good for the rest of the month as August is Fringe month here in Edinburgh and so many people come down to stay and they all want to go out for dinner and to see shows. I'm trying my best to budget for it and not get too sad about the measly payments that month. I'm still on track for being debt free this year though!

    £100 off my CC today
