Best interest rates 18th Oct 16 at 11:59 AM
I am self-employed and need to open a bank account for my earnings which will pay reasonable interest to cover inflation until I need to pay tax etc. I need:
    - to be able to pay in and withdraw regularly
    - that reasonable interest is paid on balances up to £50k

Can anyone recommend a bank account or similar?

The best bank account links above list the top-paying ones but it's pretty slim pickings, especially for larger sums.

However, chances are that most, if not all, of those accounts are intended for solely personal use and if you dig into the Ts & Cs you'll find a clause prohibiting use for a business, so it'll probably be worth opening a business-oriented one instead, even though you won't earn much, if any, interest, see
