You are not bankrupt until you have received your order.
The OR will not penalise you unduly if you spend on BR fees what you would have paid creditors to get the ball rolling sooner.
DO NOT however tell your creditors that you are applying to make yourself bankrupt. If it did take a couple of months, you could spend that time fending off bailiffs and HCEOs at your door depending on the debts.
As for mobile, pay it, the OR won't make you give it up if it is necessary and not excessive. This presumably is partly paying for a handset? If you wish to keep it, you need to keep paying for it or the phone company will want it back.0 -
Hi yes
That is part of the handset ans i took it out over 5 minths ago. I will im paying 100 today im just strugglinf as im now only receiving maternity pay statutory and 80 a month child benefit. Its so scray but i think keep thinking about it does help. I have a good hubby who im.not financially linked too all debts in my name so least cant touch him. Im aware when i go back tk work they may make me do an ipa in may next yr. So do you have any advice on what to say to creditors im scared rhey slap a ccj on me x thanks0 -
You just say to them that you are taking advice from which ever debt agency you are taking BR advice from and some one will be in touch shortly.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
