    Changing email on new phone

Changing email on new phone 15th Oct 16 at 11:54 PM
I hope someone can help me please.
I bought a new mobile phone today,a Samsung Galaxy J3.When I was setting it up tonight,it asked me for my email address.I didn't enter my usual email address, because I had the impression it had to be a g-mail address,so I entered this.
My kids thought it was fantastic because all their favourite games were pre-installed on my phone!!What actually seems to have happened is their games are on my phone because I used the same gmail address I have used previously to install their games onto their tablets.
I now can't download useful apps, such as Yahoo, because my phone is full of these games!!
I would like to change my main email address for the phone to my Yahoo account.
Or,is there a way to remove/hide/discomnnect these apps from my phone without the games being lost from kid's tablets.
Now I realise I probably didn't need to use a gmail address,I wish I could remove it completely from the phone anyway.
Any help would really be appreciated, thank you

ok , on marchmallow here on an a s6 , goto playstore and uninstall all unwanted (kids) apps , then go to settings / accounts click on google , then"more" and delete / remove the kids account , then go back to settings/accounts and add anew account , although it might be easier just doing a factory reset

Right,I have done that. Now I realise why I entered the gmail account originally.I have a message come up saying "Verifying your account. This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced with this device."So it looks like I couldn't have signed in with my Yahoo account anyway.
So now I guess sign in again with Google, then follow your original suggestion?

you must sign in with a google account to get playstore updates and the playstore apps you want , after creating a gmail address you can then go on to add your yahoo account

    Thank you pappa golf.
Yes,I discovered you need to use the gmail address first ,before adding any other address you want to use.
All working now, thank you for your help.

I know exactly what you mean-I was getting into a bit of a muddle with the phone last night.
Today I have been telling people it was because I was not being supervised by a responsible teenager .
